“There are three assessment items, the first is tajweed, the second is fashahah, the third is adab. So the weight of the score means that according to the technical guidelines we received 40 for the weight of tajweed, 40 for the weight of fashahah and 20 for the weight of adab,” said Waled Jamal, Jamaluddin HK’s nickname.
Meanwhile, North Aceh KIP Chairman Hidayatul Akbar said the Qur’an reading test refers to the Aceh KIP technical guidelines which regulate the assessment aspects of the Qur’an reading test. The Qur’an reading test standard is declared to meet the category of being able to read the Qur’an if you get a minimum score of 50.
“Today we conduct a Al-Qur’an reading test for the candidate pairs for regent and deputy regent of North Aceh 2024. This is a mandate from the Aceh Government Law and Aceh Qanun Number 12 of 2016, it is mandatory to be able to read the Qur’an properly as a result of the assessment of the testing team,” said Hidayat.

“The plenary will be on September 5, 2024, but we will see the publication process later,” he said.
When asked if one of the candidates would later be declared not to have passed the Qur’an reading test, Hidayat said, if it did not pass, because this is an absolute requirement, if it is unable, it must be replaced because PKPU itself also regulates the replacement of candidates.
Furthermore, today the candidates will also sign a statement of willingness to carry out the points of the Helsinki MoU and the UUPA, at the North Aceh DPRK Landing Building.
“Because this is required in the Aceh Qanun,” he concluded.
