Banda Aceh City PUPR Head Conducts Monitoring and Evaluation of Physical Projects for TA 2024

BANDA ACEH | ACEH INFO – The Head of the Banda Aceh Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office, Cut Ahmad Putra, ST, M.Si, accompanied by the Head of the Building and Construction Services Division (PBJK), Ir. Cut Susilawati, ST, M.Si, as well as a number of staff from the PBJK Division, Construction Executors, and Field Supervisors, carried out Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of several ongoing physical projects. This activity took place on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, and included a number of projects financed through the Aceh Special Autonomy Fund (DOKA) and the Banda Aceh Municipal Budget (APBK).

The monitoring and evaluation carried out by the Head of the PUPR Office involved visits to several construction sites, including the construction of phase IV of the Operations Control Center (Pusdalops) Building, the continued construction of the Banda Aceh City Regional Public Library Service Building, the arrangement of the Blang Padang area phase II, and the construction of the Banda Aceh District Attorney’s Office (Kejari) phase I.

One of the main projects that received attention was the construction of the Pusdalops Building, which is now entering phase IV. This project is financed by the Aceh Special Autonomy Fund (DOKA) and is expected to become a command and control center for various disaster management operations in the city of Banda Aceh. During his visit, Cut Ahmad Putra said that the construction of the Pusdalops Building must be carried out carefully and in accordance with the established planning.

“We hope that the construction of the Pusdalops Building can be completed on time and with optimal quality, because this building will be an important coordination center in disaster management in Banda Aceh City. Every detail of the work must be considered so that this building can function properly and be durable,” said Cut Ahmad Putra, Monday (12/8/2024).

Another project that also received attention in the Monev was the continued construction of the Banda Aceh City Regional Public Library Service Building. This project is also funded by DOKA and aims to increase community access to modern and representative library facilities. This building is expected to become a literacy center that is able to answer the information and education needs of the people of Banda Aceh.

Cut Ahmad Putra emphasized the importance of quality in the construction of this building. “This library building is not just a place to store books, but must be a comfortable space for people to access knowledge. Therefore, we must ensure the quality of construction is in accordance with the standards that have been set,” he said.

Not only that, the arrangement of the Blang Padang area, which is one of the strategic green open spaces (RTH) in Banda Aceh, is also the focus of this Monev. The project, which is now entering phase II, is expected to improve the function and aesthetics of the Blang Padang area, so that it can be better enjoyed by the community as a place for recreation and exercise.

Cut Ahmad Putra said that the arrangement of this area must pay attention to environmental and social aspects. “Blang Padang is the lungs of the city that we must protect. The arrangement of this area must be done while maintaining environmental sustainability and providing maximum benefits for the community. We will continue to monitor the implementation of this project so that it goes according to plan,” he explained.

In addition, Monev was also carried out on the Banda Aceh District Attorney’s Office Building construction project which is now entering phase I. The project is financed by Banda Aceh’s APBK and aims to provide adequate facilities for law enforcement officials in the city of Banda Aceh.

Cut Ahmad Putra emphasized that the construction of this building must be done very carefully, given the importance of the building’s function. “This Kejari building is a workplace for law enforcers who have a big responsibility. Therefore, construction quality and timeliness must be the top priorities in the implementation of this project,” he said.

The Head of PUPR of Banda Aceh City emphasized that all ongoing projects must be carried out in accordance with the plans that have been prepared, by paying attention to aspects of timeliness and quality of work. He also gave several important directions and notes to project implementers to be followed up immediately.

“We as budget users are responsible for ensuring that every project financed by public funds, be it DOKA or APBK, is implemented correctly and provides optimal benefits for the community. I hope that all parties involved in these projects can work with full responsibility and dedication, so that the results obtained are of real quality and benefit the citizens of Banda Aceh,” said Cut Ahmad Putra.

He also expressed his hope that all ongoing projects can be completed on time and in accordance with the specified technical specifications. Thus, all facilities built can be immediately used and benefited by the community.

This M&E activity shows the commitment of the PUPR Office of Banda Aceh City in ensuring that infrastructure development in the city runs according to plan and has a positive impact on the welfare of the community. Monitoring and evaluation will continue to be carried out regularly to ensure that each project runs well and in accordance with established standards.

Aceh Besar District Government Holds Reception and Thanksgiving Night for the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia

The Aceh Besar District Government held a reception and thanksgiving night for the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024 at Meuligo Bupati Aceh Besar, Jantho City, Saturday (17/8/2024) night. The reception was also to entertain the Aceh Besar Heritage Raising Troops (Paskibraka), who had successfully carried out their duties at the peak of Indonesia’s 79th anniversary.

Present on the occasion, Danlanud SIM, Forkopimda Aceh Besar, Secretary Drs Sulaimi MSi, Pj Ketua TP PKK Aceh Besar Cut Rezky Handayani SIP MM, all Paskibraka personnel and other invitees.

In his remarks, Pj Regent of Aceh Besar Muhammad Iswanto SSTP MM said, along with gratitude for the celebration of the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence in 2024, he expressed his appreciation and infinite gratitude to all attendees who had attended the activity.

“On this occasion, we would also like to express our gratitude to the organizing committee of the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence in 2024 who have worked seriously and all Forkopimda ranks who have supported the implementation of a series of activities of iHUT RI 2024 in Aceh Besar.

“Thanks also to the Ceremony officers and our Paskibraka children along with the coaches and all related parties who have contributed to the success of the peak ceremony of the Indonesian Independence Day this time,” Iswanto said.

He added, this reception night contains meaning and essence as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT, who has bestowed His grace and grace on the fighters of the independence movement in achieving independence. Therefore, let us offer our prayers and highest appreciation to the heroes who have fought for the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

Pj Governor and Forkopimda Watch Independence Day Parade with Thousands of People

PJ Governor of Aceh, Bustami together with Pangdam Iskandar Muda Niko Fahrizal and Aceh Police Chief Achmad Kartiko watched the participants of the 79th Independence Day parade, in the courtyard of the Aceh Governor’s Office, Sunday (18/8/2024).

Meanwhile, thousands of people were also seen enthusiastically watching and crowding along the road that the parade participants passed.
The parade participants departed from Taman Ratu Safiatuddin or PKA then moved across Teuku Nyak Arif Street and entered the Aceh Governor’s Office yard. From the Governor’s Office, the parade participants walked to Simpang Jambo Tape and then circled back to the PKA location.

In addition to the Deputy Governor, also present to welcome and watch the parade participants were the Deputy Chairperson of the Aceh PKK Mellani Subarni, Deputy Secretary of Aceh Azwardi, the Assistant Secretaries and the Heads of SKPA.

This year’s Indonesian Independence Day carnival parade participants were followed by 4,681 students from various schools in Banda Aceh City. The details of the number of participating schools are 77 elementary schools (SD), 34 junior high schools (SMP) and 39 senior high schools (SMA).

The participants wore traditional Acehnese clothing, TNI Police uniforms and various other interesting professional uniforms. There were also those who wore hand-crafted clothes with various patterns and art that interpreted the richness of culture and customs in Indonesia.

Pj Governor Bustami hopes that the spirit of independence displayed by the students can be maintained for the realization of Aceh’s golden generation and the development of a better Aceh. “The enthusiasm of the community is extraordinary, we keep this spirit to build Aceh and welcome PON,” Bustami said.

Bustami was impressed by the participation of the people who participated in enlivening the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. “I appreciate our people who are so excited.”
