Bank Aceh Launching ATM Pengcard and PON Jersey

BANDA ACEH | ACEH INFO – Bank Aceh launched the National Sports Week (PON) XXI Aceh North Sumatra jersey, Automatic Teller Machine / Automatic Cash Advance (ATM) cards and electronic money cards (emoney) Pengcard with the PON logo.

The launch was carried out by the Acting Governor of Aceh, Dr. Drs. Safrizal ZA, M.Si at the Hermes Palace Hotel, Banda Aceh, Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The launch was marked by wearing a PON jersey with the Bank Aceh logo to Maisarah, an Acehnese athlete who won the XX PON gold medal in Papua in 2021.

Followed by the handover of ATM cards and PON edition Pengcard by Acting President Director of Bank Aceh, Fadhil Ilyas to Pj Governor of Aceh Safrizal, Chairman of KONI Aceh Kamaruddin Abu Bakar (Abu Razak) and to Pj Secretary of Aceh Azawardi.

Pj Governor of Aceh Safrizal in his speech after the launch explained, the use of emoney is a necessity in the midst of the development of digital finance (financial technology).

“In the international world, cash transactions have been abandoned. I welcome the launch of the Bank Aceh Pengcard. The Aceh government strongly supports and will encourage the use of emoney in every transaction, both in the procurement of goods and services. At this PON momentum, let’s increase the use of electronic transactions,” he said.

Safrizal hopes that Bank Aceh will continue to innovate to grow, attract the attention of customers with various superior products, through the utilization of all potential with high performance.

Meanwhile, Acting Managing Director of Bank Aceh Fadhil Ilyas in his remarks explained that it was an honor for Bank Aceh to contribute to PON XXI Aceh-North Sumatra. Since April 2024 Bank Aceh has branded PON in various forms, which was then continued with support in the form of sponsorship.

“And today is the launching of jerseys for PON Aceh athletes and officials, along with the launching of ATMs and PON logo cards. There is 1,500 jersey that we prepared, 3,200 Bank Aceh ATM with PON logo and 12,000 emoney Bank Aceh Pengcard which also has the PON logo,” he explained.

Fadhil Ilyas added, Bank Aceh will continue to innovate to improve services in accordance with the development of the banking and financial services industry, including related to digital finance (financial technology).
