ACEH BESAR | ACEH INFO – The Aceh Besar District Government through the Aceh Besar Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has distributed 2,434,500 liters of clean water to several villages in Lhoknga District and its surroundings. This distribution was carried out in order to meet the needs of residents who experienced clean water difficulties due to the drought that hit the Lhoknga area.
Head of BPBD Aceh Besar Ridwan Jamil SSos MSi, said that the distribution of clean water took place from August 1 to 17, 2024 and has been recorded at the Drought Emergency Response Post established in Lhoknga District.

“The distribution of clean water is our effort to respond to the urgent needs of people affected by drought. We are working with various parties to ensure this distribution can run smoothly,” said Ridwan Jamil, Sunday (18/8/2024).
He also added that this clean water assistance did not only come from BPBD Aceh Besar, but also involved several other institutions and individuals. “We received support from the Aceh Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center (BPPW), PDAM Tirta Mountala, and volunteers who helped the distribution process,” he explained.
This distribution was a follow-up to the Phase II Drought Management Evaluation Meeting previously held by the Aceh Besar District Government together with various other vertical agencies in Lhoknga District.
With this step, the Aceh Besar District Government shows its commitment to continue to be present in the community, especially when facing emergency situations such as the drought that is currently hitting the Lhoknga and surrounding areas.

The General Budget Policy and Temporary Budget Ceiling Priorities (KUA PPAS) of Southwest Aceh Regency (Abdya) 2025 were agreed upon and signed between the executive and legislative branches during the closing plenary meeting of the KUA PPAS discussion at the local DPRK Building, Monday (19/8/2024).
The plenary meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Abdya DPRK, Nurdianto, accompanied by Deputy Chairman Syarifuddin. Also attending the event were a number of important regional officials, including Abdya Acting Regent Ir. Sunawardi, M.Si., Dandim 0110/Abdya Lieutenant Colonel Inf. Beni Maradona, S.Sos., Abdya Police Chief AKBP Agus Sulistianto, SH, SIK, Abdya Kajari Bima Yudha Asmara, SH, M.H., Abdya MPU Chairman Muhammad Dahlan, as well as assistants and SKPK leaders.
Pj Bupati Abdya Ir Sunawardi MSi on that occasion said that the discussion of the Draft KUA and Draft PPAS APBK into KUA and PPAS APBK Aceh Barat Daya Year 2025 was mandated by Government Regulation Number 12 of 2019 concerning Regional Financial Management Guidelines and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 77 of 2020 concerning Technical Guidelines for Regional Financial Management.
According to him, the discussion process between the two teams (executive and legislative) was very dynamic, this condition was a form of commitment to togetherness in carrying out their respective roles and functions to realize the implementation of a more transparent, accountable and accountable regional government.
“The KUA and PPAS APBK 2025 which have been agreed upon and signed together between the executive and legislative branches contain projections of income and expenditure,” said the Abdya Pj Regent.
He detailed the revenues and expenditures in question, namely the 2025 Regional Revenue of Rp.867,944,985,566, consisting of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) of Rp.111,120,598,268, -.
Furthermore, Transfer Revenue of Rp.740,169,500,890 consists of: Central Government transfers are planned at Rp.706,940,227,000, -. Inter-regional transfers are planned at Rp.33,229,273,890, -. Other Legitimate Revenues amounted to Rp.16,654,886,408.
While Regional Expenditures in 2025 amounted to Rp.959,556,453,166. Regional Financing: Regional Financing Revenue in 2025 amounted to Rp.94,611,467,600. Regional Financing Expenditures in 2025 amounted to Rp.3,000,000,000.
Pj also said, with the agreement of the KUA and PPAS APBK Southwest Aceh Year 2025, his party immediately issued a Circular Letter for the Preparation of SKPK RKA which then became the basis for the preparation of the Draft APBK Year 2025.

Cultural Park Independence Hall as an Effort to Preserve Local Wisdom
The Aceh Tourism and Culture Office through UPTD Taman Seni dan Budaya Aceh successfully held the Cultural Park Independence Hall in order to enliven the 79th Indonesian Independence Day (HUT).
The event was held for five days from August 13-17, 2024 at the Aceh Art and Culture Park.
Head of UPTD Taman Seni dan Budaya Aceh, Azhadi Akbari said that the event is a routine activity organized by the Government with the aim of preserving Aceh’s culture and arts.
“Through activities like this we can participate in maintaining, promoting and preserving the arts,” he said when closing the show, Saturday (17/8/2024) night.
Azhadi also added, that Aceh’s arts always depart from local wisdom which is then reintroduced to the younger generation of Aceh so that Aceh’s culture and arts are timeless.
So that art stages like this are considered to be a place to channel the creativity of Acehnese youth.
In this activity, continued Azhadi, there were many displays of the talents of young Acehnese who were packaged with religious art, because Acehnese culture cannot be separated from Islamic values.
“I also thank you for organizing this event successfully, hopefully a similar event can be held again in the future,” he said.
The various art performances displayed include; Dalail Khairat, entertainment stage, Islamic lectures, theatrical performances, theatrical poetry, and ethnic music.
In addition, various other competitions were also held, namely solo vocal competitions, rank 1 competitions, independence fashion shows, coloring competitions, inter-community competitions, and lauching poetry anthology books.
Then it also provides an Independence UMKM market ranging from culinary stands, coffee cars, and craft casts.
