JAKARTA | ACEH INFO – The Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the NasDem Party officially issued a B1 KWK letter of support to Armia Fahmi and Ismail as candidates (Balon) Regent and Deputy Regent of Aceh Tamiang in the Pilkada 2024.
The letter of support was handed over by the Secretary of DPW NasDem Aceh, Zamzami, accompanied by the Chairman of the Aceh NasDem Regional Head Candidate Screening Team, Muhammad Raji Firdana and the Chairman of DPD NaDem Aceh Besar, Furqan Firmandez, to Armiah Fahmi, at the NasDem DPP Office, Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
Armia Fahmi, thanked the NasDem Party for supporting him to advance as regional head in Aceh Tamiang in the 2024 Pilkada.

PON Fire Kirab Officially Started in Sabang, Crossing 23 Districts / Cities in Aceh
The 2024 National Sports Week (PON) XXI Fire Kirab officially started, today Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from the Sabang Merauke Monument in Sabang City.
The fire taken from Mount Merapi Jaboi was first paraded around the city of Sabang in a series of events that marked the start of PON preparations.
The ceremonial activity began with the handover of the PON fire by the Sabang city sub-district head to the Acting Mayor of Sabang, Andri Nourman. He then handed over the flame to a team of runners, marking the launch of the cirque that will cross 23 districts and cities in Aceh Province.
The release of the PON XXI flame runner team was carried out with great fanfare, implying that the four-year sports event is getting closer.
School children in Sabang lined up along the road holding flags. They waved their hands along the road crossed by the runners. Officials from the Aceh Government, Sabang City Government, KONI Aceh and sports players in Sabang also enlivened the event.
This Kirab is part of the sacred tradition that kicks off PON, symbolizing the spirit and unity in sports.
The opening of PON XXI Aceh-Sumut 2024 is scheduled to take place on September 9, 2024 at Harapan Bangsa Stadium, Banda Aceh, coinciding with National Sports Day (HAORNAS).

Preventing Hoax News, Unsam PKM Team Holds Forensic Linguistics Training at SMP Muhammadiyah Tamiang
The Community Service Implementation Team (PkM) of Universitas Samudra, conducted training and introduction of Forensic Linguistics to students of SMP Muhammadiyah Kuala Simpang, on August 8, 2024.
The team was led by Joko Hariadi and members Wilsa, Prima Nucifera and Nur Amelia.
Joko Hariadi said the training and introduction of forensic linguistics among Muhammadiyah Kuala Simpang Junior High School students was a form of hoax news prevention.
According to him, currently, language has an increasingly strong role in solving legal cases, one of which is marked by the development of forensic linguistics.
Forensic linguistics is a cross between language, crime and law that involves law enforcement officials, court affairs, legislation, court disputes and so on.

The Head of the Department of Language and Arts at FKIP Universitas Samudra emphasized that when linguists are asked to translate evidence in a case, they must show their mastery so that the results can be accounted for.
Forensic linguistics is linguistics that looks at the root of a problem related to the law. When we translate, especially sworn translators, it means that we must be able to show our mastery because if it is wrong, it will certainly become a problem in the law.
He mentioned that the scope of forensic linguistics is not only limited to cases in digital media. But more broadly, forensic linguistics even enters the academic world, such as the issue of plagiarism. According to him, plagiarism checking machines do not necessarily describe plagiarism just because the similarity test is high, so it needs to be rechecked by linguists.
Meanwhile, Wilsa mentioned that in studying forensic text, the context in which the text appears must also be considered. Context is all situations and things that are outside the text and affect language use, such as the linguistic, physical, or mental environment referred to by the user.
For example, there are posts on social media about insults to a person or institution. The posts are visual, audio, and written.
Then, the three modes must be studied, whether there are elements of crime in it when referring to the Electronic Information and Transaction Law (UU ITE) or the renewal of the Book of Laws.
